band Decoder for ICOM radios
1.8-54 MHz - Band decoder takes three inputs from ICOM ACC2 accessory connector on rear panel: +8V reference, +13.8V and variable band voltage. The output open-collector transistor array connects to ground the terminal determined by band voltage (pin 4 of ACC2 connector).
WARC bands are not separated by ICOM nature, 12m decoded as 10m, 17m as 15m.
30m and 6m bands are decoded separately. You may combine any outputs together if required.
The DC voltage to control is up to 50 V with max current 1.0 A .
PTT, ALC, +13.8 V and GND lines are coming through to control the amplifier
Input DB-9 connector:
Pin 1 (pink-blue) +8V
Pin 2 (brown) GND
Pin 3 (red-violet) PTT
Pin 4 (orange-blue) Band
Pin 7 (blue) +13.8V
Pin 9 (white) TX INH
Please solder the connector to your transceiver according color of wires. Solder the braid to GND wire too.
