PEP/AVG LCD SWR/PWR meter indicator
LCD SWR PEP/AVG power meter indicator for LDMOS MOSFET tube amplifier
The device is designed to display on the LCD alphanumeric display the values of the forward power and VSWR . For this purpose it should be connected to the directional coupler ( SWR bridge) of any design, say Tandem-match .
Thanks to peak detector on operational amplifier, this meter is capable to measure the PEP (peak envelope power) as well as average. The jumper on PCB is pre-set to PEP position, but it could be replaced by external selector to switch between PEP and AVG modes.
The forward voltage must be applied to the input port F, reflected to input port R.
Power supply voltage is +7.5...+15 volts.
Minimum voltage from directional coupler (SWR bridge) +2.55V
For proper operation the device requires calibration. Calibrate the Power Meter readout by trimmer FWR with reference meter. Calibrate the SWR readout by REV trimmer with reference meter connected in series to the antenna or using the dummy load with known resistance , 100 ohms for example. In this case, VSWR have to be set to 2.0:1 .
Several pre-programmed full-scale power levels are available, please inform what you need when order:
